Reseller General Session

Each year, we gather together for three General Sessions specific to the Resellers to hear from our management team, our peers, as well as from a motivational speaker.

Join us in Hall A to hear from the Professional Solutions leadership team and industry experts to learn about how we are transforming from the Professional Channel to Professional Solutions: Current State to Future/Ideal State. We will meet together each morning to get inspired and learn how to move forward in this new economy.

DAY 1

Please join us in February 11th at 10:30am to hear from Vice-Chairman and CEO, Dassault Systèmes, Bernard Charles and Senior Vice President Worldwide Sales, Professional Solutions, Ken Clayton Nir Eyal, author of Hooked: How to Build Habit-Forming Products, will also join us as our special guest speaker. Eyal writes, consults, and teaches about the intersection of psychology, technology, and business. The M.I.T. Technology Review dubbed Nir, “The Prophet of Habit-Forming Technology.” He has founded two tech companies since 2003 and has taught at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford.

DAY 2

On February 12th, we will continue our discussions on transforming from the Professional Channel to Professional Solutions as we explore the Current State of our PS Sales Pillars to our Future/Ideal State. Our team will provide actionable ideas on how to transform our business. Please join us at 10:30am.

Alden s a former Navy SEAL platoon commander, author, and entrepeneur who has earned more than 40 patents.

On February 13th, our motivational speaker, the unstoppable Alden Mills, will join us at 8:30am (please note, this is a time change from previous years!). Odds are that you, or someone you work with, uses Alden Mills’ inventions. He is a former Navy SEAL platoon commander who has earned more than 40 patents, which have sold over 10 million products (and counting) worldwide. Alden also became an entrepreneur, leading his first company to $90 million in sales in just three years. He’s created five #1 ranked infomercials, and is the author of BE UNSTOPPABLE: The 8 Essential Actions to Succeed at Anything.

Professional Solutions Award Dinner

This year we are changing up the seating format of the dinner to encourage more mingling with colleagues and celebration! We will have a variety of seating options, as well as a buffet. With no assigned seating, you can decide when to eat and who to eat with. Registration for the dinner is located within the conference registration system. For planning purposes, we will be cutting off registration by February 1st, so please register for the conference, and the Awards Dinner, prior to then!

The CEO Forum is for the CEOs of our Resellers, as well as their senior management team. It will be held in the Omni Hotel attached to the conference center.

Sales Manager Institute

All SOLIDWORKS VAR Sales Managers are invited to the Sales Managers Institute. This year’s topics include how to coach sales reps on business outcomes (with speaker Tim Haller, President of Sales Gauge), and SOLIDWORKS University (with speaker Lutz Feldmann, Professional Channel, Global Director, Sales Certification).

Applications Engineer Workshop

This workshop is a technical session covering both pre and post-sales activities to help us to deliver the highest level of service to our customers and partners. Rockstar Technical Sales Managers (TTMs) and SOLIDWORKS Support Engineers will share tips, tricks, and content to help make your jobs easier and our customers more successful.
