All main conference activities will take place at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center (650 S Griffin St, Dallas, TX 75202).

The Special Event is at Gilley’s on Tuesday, February 12th from 7-10pm. It is open for all full conference pass holders, as well as those Expo Only, Tuesday, and Booth Staff attendees who purchased the Special Event add-on. You must have your badge and government issued ID in order to attend the Special Event – there will be no exceptions.
Shuttle service will be provided for the Special Event at Gilley’s Dallas. Shuttle departures will be available at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center lower level from 7:00-8:30pm. Return shuttles from Gilley’s will run from 8:30-10:30pm and will stop at all hotels in the SOLIDWORKS World hotel block. Hotels on the return shuttle route are Omni Dallas Hotel, Hotel Lorenzo, Magnolia Hotel, Aloft Dallas Downtown, Westin Dallas Downtown, and Hyatt Regency Dallas. Last shuttle departure from Gilley’s is 10:15pm.

There are over 260 breakout sessions of all different topics and skill levels – there really is something for everyone! This year’s breakout session categories range from ECAD and MCAD to Visualization, Simulation, and a whole lot more! Check out more information on the agenda here.

In order to add sessions to your agenda, you must have registered for the conference. You can register for breakout sessions by logging into the Connect site with your SOLIDWORKS World username and password.
Yes, we will have a waitlist of 10 people for all sessions that reach capacity. We will inform you if you have been removed from the waitlist and added to the session.

Yes, all of the user sessions are recorded and are available (along with the presentation documents) after the conference ends.
The recorded sessions will be available on the Connect site. We will send out a communication to all attendees when they are available.
We will have the recordings available on the Connect Site a few weeks after the close of the event.

We would love to have your guest join us at SOLIDWORKS World 2019. Full Conference, Educator, Student, and Reseller attendees can all bring a guest for an additional $250.00 fee. The guest pass includes the same admittance as an Expo Only pass. If you would like for your guest to join you at our special event the rate is $450.00.
Cancellation requests must be received in writing from the original attendee or credit card payer and received on or before 5:00PM EST, January 10, 2019 in order to receive any refund of fees. Each conference cancellation request will be subject to a $200 service charge, which shall be deducted from any amounts refunded. Cancellation requests received after 5:00PM EST, January 10, 2019 or no shows at SOLIDWORKS World are not entitled to any refund of fees.

Registration is located within the Hall D Lobby at the Kay Bailey Huchison Convention Center. For your reference, this location is very close to where the Omni Hotel and the Convention Center meet.

Yes, Full Conference registration includes both breakfast and lunch. Also, there are evening receptions on Sunday and Monday night, and a Special Event on Tuesday. Expo Only passes do not have admittance into the meal hall.
We recommend that you dress business casual.
Yes, you will receive a program guide listing all of the conference activities and breakout session schedules. However, rooms and timing may change. For the most up-to-date information on the conference schedule, please download and refer to the mobile app.

You can register to take a certification exam within the registration system. There are two exam slots available – 10am-2pm and 3pm-7pm. If there isn’t a time listed, the exam slots are completely filled. If you aren’t able to take an exam onsite, you will also be provided a voucher to take the exam at another time during the 2019 calendar year.

Yes, we have contracted with specific hotels near the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. A full list of hotels and details are located here. Be sure to book your hotel accommodations before the cut-off date of January 17th in order to get the conference rate. You must book your hotel through the hotel reservation portal in order to get the special rate. After January 17th, hotel rooms will be available at the hotel rate.

If you need to change your hotel reservation after the cut-off date of January 17th, you must contact the hotel directly.
